A warrior, a woman, a myth—who is Mulan when the battle ends? Bound by the Wind is a powerful new play exploring identity, memory, and transformation in the wake of war. When Mulan spares a Rouran prisoner, their shared journey reopens wounds, questions loyalties, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Blending historical imagination with video game aesthetics and physical storytelling, this production brings together stylised stage combat, original movement, and haunting sound design.

With a devoted cast and an intriguing premise…” — The Upcoming ★★★ “Well-paced, utilising special effects, a textured soundscape, video game aesthetics and tight choreography… a thought-provoking hour.” — Camden New Journal “Bound by the Wind is a deeply ambitious production that strikes serious questions of freedom, authorship, and mythic identity...Bound by the Wind bears great potential. Its core ambition is commendable.” — A Young(ish) Perspective ★★★½
